The day after the day before….
Bentley sponsored the Royal Windsor Cup and asked me to document the weekend including the match and surrounding activities for 8 journalists from a variety of international lifestyle magazines, from Dubai to South Africa.
At the Royal Guards Polo Club Bentley had 4 vehicles, 2 Flying Spurs and 2 Continentals. One of which was the new Continental GT Speed which with its new face lift would be my choice…
The white building in the background with a long sloped roof is the Royal Box. Home for the day where Bentley had customers and journalists to experience the world famous Windsor Cup Final.
A table out front already prepared for the teams with Bentley trophies and gifts.
A first for me to see Polo first hand and must say I wasn’t disappointed. Speaking to officials at the club the result was a high scoring match and a real treat to see.
With the traditional ‘Divot Stomping’ (made famous by the film Pretty Women) taking place at halftime with spectators from the stands and surround areas taking part.
Her Majesty the Queen came for the final ‘Chukker’ before handing out the awards to the teams and best performing pony.
As mentioned the best performing pony received a blanket….. Bentley, of course.
Another great day, an absolute pleasure to work with Bentley again…
Until next time.
